I volunteer and work there. Volunteer for an hour, then I work for four.

Man it sucks. And the little kids never put anything in one by one. And their parents never tell them to either- some parents will be like, she'll fix it later sweetie, just put the books wherever you want.

Oooh. That's a lot of hours!

And yes, kids, as cute as they can be at times, are the absolute worst at handling books. I once had a kid 'sort' all the books by their color, for my convenience.

And the mom thought it was cute! CUTE!

Oh yes, we have those kids. Kids are the worst in the library- and their parents think they're adorable and never correct them. I LOVE the parents that ask me where books go, or teach their kids to put them away correctly. They're the nice ones- but there are some incredibly rude parents. Some think it's my job to throw used tissues away. It's not.

We sorted all the Rylant books by color because there's literally four shelves of them. 😆

Just go home and have a bucket of your favorite ice cream... or any ice cream available in your icebox... If you have a dark chocolate cake and you can slightly warm it go with the ice cream then magic will happen.. guaranteed cure... ❤️
