Independence - well the way I see it, we did not get it when we should have we were stagnated and impoverished, physically, financially, emotionally...and the invaders walked out only when they themselves were stagnated financially after having extinguished the resources on world wars and after suffering the great depression...there was nothing left in India, when they left it, neither they have enough money to carry on administration here

and yes the dreadful partition(s), which left scars for life on both sides the massacre, the loss, the atrocities on men, women and children...it just is horrible..how with independence, we were gift wrapped communal violence - we were all one, no matter what religion, but outsiders played it dirty and divided us🤢.

yep, finally saw Latajee...⭐️ she was running high fever 103 degrees, so she came for some 15 mins and left...but it was great to see her😊 she spoke a few lines and an album with some jain shloks in it which she sung was released today...dint get chance to meet her in person...but it was great to see a legend in front of the eyes👏
