'Diya Aur Baati Hum' takes back top place in UK

The popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum' was back on top of UK Asian TV ratings on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The 21:00 fiction, pulled in 103,400 viewers on Star Plus, followed by Saathiya' at 19:30 with 100,900 viewers and Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon - Ek Baar Phir' at 18:00 pulling in 96,300 viewers.

On Colors, Rangrasiya' was the leading show with 64,400 viewers tuning in at 21:30, followed by BeIntehaa' at 21:00 with 51,700 viewers and Uttaran' in third with 49,000 viewers.

On Rishtey, Laagi Tujhse Lagan' was top with 39,800 viewers, followed by Parichay' with 36,600 viewers and Laado' at 21:00 with 30,800 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, Ek Boond Ishq' was back on top with 33,900 viewers, followed by Laut Aao Trisha' at 22:00 with 29,600 viewers and Nadaan Parinde' in third with 27,900 viewers.

On Hum Europe, Izterab' at 20:00 was top with 35,600 viewers, followed by Dil-e-Muztar' with 29,700 viewers at 21:00.

Above data is an overnight rating supplied by Attentional - and may change slightly after consolidated figures become available in seven days from BARB.

They do not even know who they are up against. The person thinks they have a fan following that will sustain their show and even speaks to the press, making a fool of himself. BTW, I have heard that 2 leads often squabble on the sets over petty issues like who has a bigger fan following. But 1 thing is pakka, this show will go off air due to low ratings as competition with YHM bhaari padane wali hain inko. Clearly, this person does not check OL viewership and overseas ratings. Overseas, Sanaya's 2nd show is ruling, this show is not even 2 nd. Even Uttran is getting better viewership. OL viewership also this show is nowhere near. So this person has absolutely no knowledge about anything and yet, he makes a fool of himself by blabbering out to the media, making his fans look like even bigger fools for having ditched sensible actors to be fans of this cartoon.
