...An ode to all the Baraatis...
How do I begin to write a fitting poem for Shaadi
It leaves me confused and in a bit of a quandary
So much has happened and not just in the story
With it came in to existence our wonderful CC
Where developed friendships & bonds beautifully
Addictive & fun where we all hang out collectively
Not wanting to leave till it's absolutely compulsory
And from being Baraatis we now are called Bees
We talk about anything & everything constantly
And new Bee we always welcome very warmly
Some even who silent readers used to once be
For that though the credit goes to J our writer ji
Juhi, thank you to you I say with much sincerity
For bringing us together I think we all will agree
Looney with your challenge you made us happy
The terms and conditions suited us too perfectly
Mini your gifs & comments a writers dream really
An asset to every thread you are I say honestly
Jigs you are now the backbone of our unique CC
A special bond you share with us all individually
Sami, you along with Choti the queens of guttery
Your poems, images & stories loved by everybody
Of course you think yourselves to be sati savitris
But that place is reserved for our one and only
Or two contenders we have for the spot maybe
One being claimed by our darling Bee Cherry
Who came up with awards & categories witty
Nominations were indeed fun & a great memory
While Gita feels she is deserving too apparently
I suspect she is not an innocent and naive Bee
Her forte lies in calculations & statistics brilliantly
And of course at making ASR muse occasionally
Ruchi our Bee with her fabulous songs & parodies
All the way from London she visits us almost daily
Joined by my sweetheart RRK aka Kavita or Kavi
With guttery riddles & gifs she appears very quietly
A_BA is these days outside the lines,unfortunately
In her AD busy, Aami your presence we miss badly
Ms DK's guttery thoughts are always of top quality
How her mind works is indeed for me still a mystery
The cutest posts of little babies posted by Rashmi
For every occasion she seems to have them ready
Re Re we call her now with love & so affectionately
A name that was given to her by one of the Baraatis
Posts and images share here everyone confidently
Some adding to the fun & to the pages flying rapidly
Like do our very own special Bees Nooro and Preethi
Although I wish they would visit here more frequently
Asha, Dolly & Tinkleby & KKali contributed equally
I hope I don't leave out someone & make them angry
As I know there are more members, am sure many
If so then I do apologise in advance wholeheartedly
But like Rith, Sudha & vks11 it might just be simply
That I may not have interacted with you all previously
Which I wish will be remedied in the future hopefully
For this CC and the Bees will keep buzzing indefinitely
