I am sure that reference to Aloknath is something to do with the movie only.

May be in that Humpty Sharma calls him that.It won't be surprising since one dialogue between them had him say some very uncomplimentary thing about something😛

They can't promote the movie in the name of Sid because his role is a cameo.They have to promote it as Varun Alia movie which stars Sid in an important cameo.

That's the reason why he is not with them but just doing his own promotion separately.
