Yup Savs, it is really commendable that YHM is getting high TRPs even when it is airing at 11PM time slot. SP must be surprised that this show could get this viewership even at late night slot. And I still am surprised that Ekta has kept Ishitha sensible and understanding and a reflection of modern women. Just hoping SP won't get in and make this character a khichdi and an ardarshi SP bahu. Colors seriously are in a big soup with their weekend show CNWK going down to 2 TRP from a whooping 5 TRP and JDJ too seems to have not taken off as well. That may be reason why colors is courting Ekta so much.

In other news, EHT is another show which I am liking at the moment for the way the story is being told with different tracks being moved simultaneously and the suspense is still there. You know the players are positioned correctly and it is like a game of chess being played.

JA update suggests that Jodha has become the ultimate susheel SP bahu (even though it is on Zee) by being the all sacrificing/forgiving aatma ... all is well between Ruqs and Jalal, Howie you happy?😉

Ekta maiyya is being courted by all channels and all her shows rule their individual slots. Which says it all. Added bonus is that lately she has not had to do her forward jump which is making people more hopeful. JA with all the Ruqs drama, I am waiting for Jodha to faint-va-sa. Then I will go 'Mubarak ho' 😉

😆😆 Mubarak Ho indeed to Jodha when that happens.

Maiyya's reach is definitely not to be underestimated. I remember BALH (when it was aired during IPK days) was in the top 3 of TRP charts in a channel like Sony that supposedly does not have a wide reach. Now she is on SP and I am sure that show is going to zoom up even more.

Only thing is she ruthlessly tears down something she nicely builds up, head desk galore!!!

@bold:- Satyavachan Savs. Every single show of her eventually goes the satyanash way. So in a way we should be prepared to ditch the show when the stupid leaps and accidents start to happen.

But in my soap reading experience, in the past couple of years, that seems to be the case with all soaps. Ekta just seems to be more ruthless about the characters with actors leaving and coming, bas!

I actually think i like that model of hers, coz Indian TV unfortunately demands a show to run for x+5 yrs and NOTHING can sustain "our" interest for such a period, that too a daily!

I'd rather invest my time for an year in her show coz the buildup is far better than many shows, attend the baby shower of the FL 😆 and jump out of the wagon.
