Oh my god. I meant SEC. As in Alabama, etc.- Southern conference, where football craziness is taken to extremes.

But yes, drinking culture is big here. Beer. And lots of it. I personally think it tastes like crap, but to each his own.

@ASB - good to know about the career possibilities. That's just what he needs.

He's a good kid despite being so mollycoddled.

But I guess that seems to be the norm in the kids i see in Mumbai.

College in the US will change that, especially at a Big Ten university like Purdue- it is still
Big 10, right? So many changes, I can't remember which schools are in this anymore. But I don't know what drinking culture is like in India- if you're responsible and firm about it, it's not a big deal.
