I ate street chaat only once on my recent trip to India.
And then I had to endure a long lecture from my Mom, who was convinced that I was going to end up on hospital that night. But it turned out that she was wrong, although I certainly didn't have the courage to tell her so.

Isn't it AmEzing how our Moms can still scare us even when we're mothers ourselves ? 😆

You guys are making my mouth water with talks of all this yummy food, from delicious desserts to all the street food!!

And mem, I completely agree with you!! In fact, I don't hold back from anything when I'm in India. And also from past experience, I know that one can sick from roadside food AND any fancy restaurant, so why limit yourself?? And like you said, there is always Imodium, lol.

I haven't been to India in 4.5 years now 😭 I NEED TO GO BACK SOON!!!

My mom gave up trying long ago, but my FIL insists on the no street food rule so i eat without his knowledge. And i eat pani puri at least 3 or 4 times each trip and dont get sick. And paninpuri is probably the worst since who know what water they use.

The only time i got sick from pani puri was at my sisters wedding 😭

But since then immodium is the first thing i pack on my trips.
