v I belong to a very conservative south indian community IYERS but probably because of my lifestyle exposure I am more vocal and anyway I am considered a blacksheep among my own extended family because I drink and talk too much in English I am still figuring out the last part of what that has got to do with it but go figure

Yes, watched Shadi ke side effects, it was entertaining with some funny dialogues but the resolution of the movie sucked. Farhan's hot with his unconventional looks! The man's multi talented.

Marriage talks yahan bhi? I think people tend to frown upon a woman's unmarried status more than they do in case of a man. I mean men can play the field and they would always be considered a great catch regardless of their age. But women seemed to have a shelf life and if you aren't married by the "expiry" date you would be nothing but a wallflower. I hate attending weddings. I hate how people tend to look at you with pity because you are not married. My friends are having babies, so I am almost "extinct".


Swathi: Wow! So some of you don't even eat onion and garlic? I think I would go mad if I have to give up my non veg food. You have a lot of will power. I wish I had even an iota of it so that i could stop myself from indulging in my sweet tooth. Being a bong how can I not love my maach and mishti? 😭

Marriage talk.. yikes! I think I might be the only one left in my batch unmarried .. and you know what .. I'm actually glad. I doubt any guy would be happy with the hours I put into my research and work right now! Parents would have been pressuring me to have a baby .. and all the PhD .. everything would have gone down the drain!
