Swati: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so very much. But you need not have gone to such lengths not that I appreciate the effort but since I was so easily sold, I started watching all the episodes. I have already watched the first two episodes last night. And I have watched half of the third episode till Kerim steps into the fox trap and Asi and Demir are driving to save him.Awww - Onu I knew you would like it! 🤗And I'm so glad you are watching the episodes because I will finally have someone to discuss Asi with. You will see there are several moments in the show where Asi is the one who takes charge - she's the one in control, she's strong, dynamic, no-nonsense. She's a beautifully written character.
I was just about to say how great the eye sax is in Asi. 😆 Poor Demir, I just couldn't bear to watch the scene where his mother leaves them behind so that she could commit suicide but the ptiful cries of her children tugged her heart strings rendering her incapable of walking away from them and finally she decides to kill them off with a very, very heavy heart. Can't even begin to imagine what the woman must have been going through. Gut wrenching. The eye sax is phenomenal. Murat speaks with his eyes. The scene of the mother jumping into the river was such a powerful scene - you really don't get to see something like that in a tv serial. And the little kids looked genuinely scared and puzzled - great acting by them. You will see that this backstory is treated very well here - it weighs on Demir's mind but it doesn't damage him for a lifetime. He overcomes a lot of adversity to be a reasonably well-adjusted human being.
Demir's hot! Yep, not in the conventional way. But definitely hot. I like my men unconventional. Cliched looks make them look like they have been churned out from the same mold.
Moochiya in only a couple of episodes? Why, dear God? He looked so good. I watched that VM 5/6 times just to watch him in moustaches. He should grow one since it gives him a depth in character. I can't wait to watch moochwala Demir. I am already anticipating the fall of the mighty Demir when he falls in love with Asi. He's already attracted to her and no matter how much he fights it, he really can't stop himself from feeling attracted towards her. Poor Demir.I personally find Murat Yildirim very hot because I like my men unconventional too. He radiates hotness in a way that a lot of very conventionally good looking men don't. I dare anyone to resist his charm when he speaks in that husky voice of his and fixes his gaze. He has that X-factor that goes way beyond good looks. I agree with you - he looks terrific with a moochh! If you would like to see Murat Yildirim with a moochh then you should check out his film Guz Sancisi where he has a moochh throughout the film. 😆Asi and Demir's attraction towards each other is treated so well - there's uncertainty, jealousy but also irresistible attraction. You can see Demir's struggle in his very understated way.
Asi's character is so strong. I really think she is admirable and a fitting companion for Demir. Can't wait to see them married with that little girl. That scene was sooo sweet where she pulls Demir's cheeks and he gives that sexy smile.Faint Thud Dead.My favourite part of the whole show is how well they've etched out Asi's character - she's a strong, determined girl who at times lets her pride get in the way of doing what would make her happy. But she's not a doormat - she's not a pushover, she holds her own against everyone. And she's definitely not intimidated by Demir. When she falls for him, she does it on her own terms, she doesn't have to be bullied or blackmailed into it.
I swear you'll fall in love with the little girl - she appears towards the end - in the last 10 episodes or so. She's an absolute sweetheart and the little kid acts so phenomenally well. The father daughter bond is perfect - do watch it!
