I'm disappointed with the TRPs though...hope they increase soon. Only because we know it matters to the channels and actors. Otherwise I couldn't give a hoot about them. They don't define the quality of a show. RR is a well made, well executed and well acted show with a niche audience. I just hope it gets the due recognition at award shows and I want it to go on for 5+ years!

lol i dropped a comment as i checked it out.. i like his acting in RR..

anyway TRPs r stable. that is the good thing.. NB actually brought up another point.. we don't have a stable show leading up to RR. we have another newbie. n yet we get our own stable viewership

for an example BI has MB ahead of it and as the 1st 2 mins of airing is only counted for TRPs it will help.

anyway i am glad that BI is doing good.. lol i will be happy for ANY show that comes at 9 pm n does well lol so that DABH is reduced even a little.. 🥱

anyway hope u knew abt this Monday trend? RR trended worldwide within the hour.. n my own account didn't even get jailed meaning i hadn't even tweeted my own max when it happened..
so its globally and online super duper popular.. that aught to count for something for a while till it picks up further..

That's a good point Guniea. This is why I don't like written interviews, many things get lost in translation. Especially when they are these shoddily written articles on IF as you said. I did try to give her the benefit of doubt and read that comment a few times but it sounded worse every time.

Diya you nailed it...looks like Ashish has found someone on his intellectual level with Sanaya haha!

It's amusing how certain "fans" are already jumping on Ashish for letting success get to his head as opposed to their humble pie who was a saint. They were just waiting to find a reason to bash. I don't see why Ashish is to be blamed for his wife speaking like an amateur.

Ashish has always been respectful to Sanaya, reporters and fans. He even accepts the haters insults and says he will work harder. He gets along famously with Sanaya so that means she is an exception and on his intellectual level. No matter how you spin it, you can't make him or her look bad. The only person who looks bad here is Archana. Choose your words more carefully woman.

Exactly Diya, Ashish himself reinforced the idea of being a man of few words in every interview, of how Sanaya broke the ice between them and now their growing comfort level. It was a pleasure to see Ashish opening up, having fun and chatting with Sanaya.

Anyway, you guys are right best to let it go and Guinea you have a point about written interviews.

Archana didn't do Ashish any favors with this interview and actually made him sound highly egotistical with the comment about finding someone of his own intellectual level. As for not liking girls it seemed more an attempt to make herself look special in his eyes - which is totally fine but you don't need to do it on a public forum.It may have been a bad attempt at humor but I guess this level of attention is also a new thing for these two. What I've seen of Ashish off screen he seems fine and Sanaya seems comfortable around him and I'm also always wary of reading too much into interviews particularly those on internet sites.

As for comparisons, I'll take the reserved Ashish even if his reservation is a result of his ego over a humble homophobe any day. At least that will mean he has an inflated view of his own self worth as opposed to hatred in his heart for other human beings.

Married co-stars 😆 Did madam forget she is a girl too? Her words are reeking of insecurity. Now it could be that her words were twisted and written in a way she didn't mean or she twisted his words. Whatever it was, she has made Ashish look bad and given people a reason to attack him. The lady needs to control herself and be very careful with her words and her tone. Ashish is becoming popular day by day, and such statements will only have a negative impact on his image

And no offense, she has come across as insecure on her twitter as well so this wasn't a huge shock to me. If she is bothered with Ashish's friendliness with Sanaya, then she should know Sanaya is not dumb. After going through the experience with a certain other fandom, Sanaya knows where to draw the line... as we saw in the Rose Day segment.

I think she is insecure and overwhelmed with Ashish's sudden popularity, and doesn't know how to react. He has been seen on the SBS segments laughing and joking with Sanaya, and he has garnered a lot of praise and recognition for his role as Rudra ... neither of them have been so successful earlier with the online crowd. QH is the more successful show in terms of TRPs, but she has not gotten the kind of recognition that Ashish has gotten in less than two months with RR and Sanaya.

But I really hope she was misquoted about that statement about girls being dumb, and Ashish not talking to anyone on his sets because he doesn't find them of his intellectual level ... it's very demeaning not only to his current team, but to all his previous ones as well. In fact much less demeaning to his current team, and more demeaning to his earlier ones ... because he's much more in the spotlight in the offscreen segments with RR than he has been with his earlier shows, and he is obviously NOT reserved here at all.

Ashish does need to issue a clarification on this one ... it left a bad taste in the mouth.

I have a request guys ...pani daalo . Bahut discussion ho gaya is article par ...in all the interviews I have seen and heard of ashish he comes across as a reserved guy who is careful with his words and respectful to all especially sanaya and his other co actors like kaaliji etc.

Donot know archana atall so will not discuss her atall. My probelm is I have such a poor opinion of IF journos , I just cannot take any article of theirs at face value.

Let this be ...ashish wants to issue a clarification or not , I don't care ...I will continue to like his acting and beyond that I don't care.

We have had a good episode today ...lets discuss it in the main forum. 😊
