Yes that's the one. My maa tries to convince me to switch over to this show since this airs at 9:30pm same as RR. She said I would like it because I seem to watch "such" kind of shows.

Cop guy has donned the role of SRK in Darr. 🤔 The stakerish, obsessive lover. Funny as hell. The other day my mum was watching MAA and she told me how well the guy playing Rudra in RR is so convincing as an angry young man keeping the girl hostage. I think there's a similar track in Maa so the comparison. 😛

OMG - please do not give in to your Ma's enticement. That show is absolutely nothing like RR if pics are anything to go by. Think of a male leadwho makes Nikhil of Tomay Amay Mile look like a stud. Think of a female lead who was offered a role which probably even Jhilik rejected. Put them together and that's what Raikishori looks like.

It's basically Zee's copy of Star Jalsha's Anchol, except here the girl is an idol maker, not sari weaver. At least the Anchol girl is very pretty and the guy is tolerable looking, by Nikhil standards. Also, the guy's brother in Anchol is hot and I'm always hoping they'll make the girl and her brother-in-law hook up 😆 (kitne uchey vichar hain mere).

Your Ma is so sweet but there's no comparison between Jhilik guy and Rudra. Jhilik guy looks like someone's locked his bathroom and thrown away the key. Hence the constant expression of I've got to pee right now or I'll burst! 😆

Barun wid mrunal ...is the pics recent?

Since I only have a Masters in Bhaiya-ology I can tell you that this pic is from Dubai back when Bhaiyya went with a theatre group to Dubai and didn't end up actually acting in the play but basically just hanging out with the actual actors. Mrunal was acting in the play and they posed together.

One of the pankhis with a Bhaiya-ology PhD can tell you the exact date this pic was taken 😆

By the way, did anyone watch 4 Chooha I mean 4 Lions' other show Arjun on a regular basis? What's the drama between the pankhis of that show and Mrunal? She came on the show when Sana Khan's character was killed off so some girls shipping Sana's character Riya and Arjun were upset. But they also knew that Sana had to leave for health reasons and it wasn't Mrunal's fault.

But it seems some of them really hate Mrunal now - there were so many nasty comments in the Tellychakkar article about Mrunal being cast in Ekta's show.

Swati I find Mrunal boring. her acting isnt anything great to talk about either. She came in that show with Mohit, right? The one that got pulled up by SP within 3 months. That show was a disaster from the word go. For SP to pull a show that soon, must have meant that it was a wash out.

I'm not sure about Sriti and Mrunal as sisters. they do look similar but they are both a little serious. I'd have loved to have seen someone vibrant to balance Sriti's role as based on articles so far Sriti's role is kind of serious again.

She is - she really doesn't have a spark. The few episodes I saw of Arjun left me cold. I thought Shaleen and Sana had better chemistry together than her and Shaleen.

Though as far as her and Mohit's show is concerned, I did watch a few episodes of that one so I can say that it got pulled because of the following reasons

1. A huge cast of characters related to each other in confusing ways. It was impossible to figure out who hated whom and who was allied with whom 😆

2. The show was marketed like a crime thriller/mystery and turned out to be your average SP style joint family drama

3. A horribly boring central story about estranged mother and daughter that they spent episode after episode highlighting with lots of super boring rona dhona

4. The complete absence of any kind of chemistry between Mrunal and Mohit - they were a disaster from get go. Now Mrunal and Manit, the real main lead of the show - had plenty of chemistry and looked good together. But Manit came too late to the show to save it. The damage had been done. And Mohit was just awful in Khamoshiyan - a pain to watch.

Yep - Mrunal is probably not the best choice for this role. Much as I don't like her as an actress, but I think Priyal Gor would have been perfect for a role based on S&S' Marianne. She has that stubborn flighty look and yet guileless face. But Priyal is a pain to deal with - she throws tantrums and is also a mediocre actress.

I love Sriti Jha. She is my favorite actress right alongside Sanaya.

I think it was Swati who said Sriti is so opposite in real life (watching her in interviews and other stuff) compared to what she portrays.

She and Harshad had such crackling chemistry in that disastrous show DKDSB. I actually wanted them to be a real life couple.😳

But you are all right. She is getting type cast. She has a very expressive face and she in my opinion can pull of varied roles just like Sanaya can.

Yay - high five!!! We have the same choices - Sriti is my favourite actress too - I think I like her a wee bit more than Sanaya 😆. She had Harshad did have amazing chemistry and were great in the offscreen segments too. Best offscreen segments from a show after the bhaiyya-Sanaya segments. I guess Harshad is too moody and eccentric to deal with as a real life boyfriend but these two would have been awesome together.

She needs to be cast in more shows - she's the total package - she's gorgeous and she can act and she has oodles of charisma.
