I am sorry we never exchanged "letters" of any kind. Tere is no such tradition that we follow. I even asked my mum but she too couldn't throw light on it. But the festival celebrated in the show was Bijoya/ Bijoyadashmi/ Duseehra, the last day of the ten day celebration.

Haha... yes, tell me about it. People in Mumbai keep odd hours. Here in Kolkata we generally start early and try to be home early. In Mumbai I heard you guys start late hence you end up working late hours. I would prefer to be early than work late nights.

And for the life of me I can't imagine traveling in those over crowded trains. Every single day. I prefer my Kolkata. Mumbai is mind boggling. You have no "shared" autos. You have taxis that ply in a particular area only. Here taxis don't have a marked zone as such. They go everywhere. And the metro rail is quite convenient too. But I guess the distance that you guys travel is greater than we do in Kolkata. Hence you need the trains. That's what I was told when I expressed my appalation at traveling in a train regularly to work.

Resh, I haven't been there for too long either. Just flying visits. I somehow couldn't adjust to the always on the go kind of life. I love my peace and quiet. 😆 And Mumbai is always rushing off to somewhere. Everyone's too busy.
Vyas, but I thought that for example Andheri autos will ply in Andheri only. And you have reserved autos. Well, we never shared when I was there. And I never heard my ex sharing either. Though I heard him sharing taxis. So shared Taxis I have heard of. We don't share taxis here. I was told taxis travel in particular zones only.

You guys are going to have metro rail too? Last time I heard Mumbai didn't have it. Monorail is super! I wish we had in Kolkata too. 😊

Funnily, I didn't like Mumbai because it was too fast, too busy, too everything. Unlike everything in Kolkata. And my ex didn't like Kolkata again because it was so different from Mumbai. He couldn't imagine gong off to sleep by 11pm. 😆 Or waking up at 7am or even earlier.
