i watched indresh malik IV,, he was like he n vivian were having lunch n abhinav went to the set n dropped the bomb about the leap! so literally VD was ousted from the show

but i am sure he was given chance to think whether he wanted to be there or not after announcing the leap on the set

Reading all their interviews...and how vd has mentioned a few times that bumping off RK was the makers decision etc...I have a feeling they weren't very enthu keeping him post leap !! Maybe they offered him to play oldie RK ...because they knew he woukdnt accept... Or maybe the 'oldie RK' version is being given as a cover up..things don't look all that amicable to me .. Maybe the channel wanted him out ...
