Sorry yeh maine aaj dekha. Okay, the book is from Beatrice' POV. In the city where she lives, people are divided into five factions- Amity, Dauntless, Abnegation, Erudite or Candor. Each faction stands for one quality that they believe in above all else. For eg, the Dauntless believe that bravery is above all else.

Each year on a particular day the people who've just turned 16 are initiated into a faction. It could be the same faction as their parents or they could choose a new faction. The choice is theirs.

Beatrice is from Abnegation(that is the faction she grows up in) and the members of this faction believe in Selflessness.

If you like Dystopian fiction, you'll like this book. I liked it because GIRL POWER. I won't be reading it again (I don't think so, it's the kind of book I'll only like reading once) but it was fun and I'd like to read the sequel.
