Also, last year not many good movies were released. So even watching nominations wud be boring. And the worst of all, Deepika am sure will make a clean sweep this time around. Arey...just 2 days...give it time...doesnt matter if it earns less on opening day as long as it makes up in the long run eventually. That wud speak volumes about the movie and Salman. Also, like I said above, the tickets were priced very low unlike D3 and CE.

I started watching Nach Baliye since when Salman appeared on the show for Jai Ho promotions.

Sajid seems to be very fond of Gur-Deb.

I like Ritvik-Asha too. They too dance pretty well.

Either one of these cpls seem deserving.

But I also remember reading somewhere that where D3 ticket prices were in the range of Rs.800+, for Jai Ho, considering the type of movie it is (abt helping one another), the tickets were priced as low as even 100 at a few places with the max being abt Rs.350 or so.
I think that is contributing to the low numbers in terms of revenue.

dhoom3's ticket price was 900 rs while Jai Ho has low Ticket price
