Soni you can say you are fond of little kids, that you have the patience to deal with them, that your personal practise with the little ones in your family made you realise how you write want to pursue a career in that. That is why when you decided to pursue your education again you picked up social sciences as you are very much interested in people, their background, society and history. That is a broader degree which will equip you with the necessary mindset to further your understanding of children when you take up early years education (you know na kids don't live in a vacuum but with significant others, their influence blah blah)

Also mention that the early years are formative years, an impressionable age, and an essential aspect of future growth. Education at this age, from the right person, in the right setting is of paramount importance. Having said that, you believe you have the proper temperament and attitude to be able to impart education to the young ones and all that you need now is knowledge of theoretical research in this area and the necessary training to be of value to the young ones.
