My two cents on ThP

The one thing i really liked today is the way the both are shown as educated grown up adults...The way pakhi talking about sharing the bed and sleeping on it... Clearly its not the usual u take bed i take sofa and being all dramatic...She behaved quite good like a person who got married to man she knows and also a stranger ...

The Next big thing is that the servants of the house...they are all spoiled one who just enjoys the freedom they have without the women of the house and want to be in control of the entire incharge...So lets see how writers make pakhi handle them...

The tie scene was nice...Pakhi has taken the guy as her husband and she behaves like a girl with her friend which is nice to watch...

By the way now a days we get heros with a child and heroines to fall in love with the guy and vice versa...may be slightly the writers are showing that the life does give second chance...i really like it...

So finally there is show with leads who are looking neat and there is no so called passion or junoon so that there has to be a dramatic backgorund score every time, the man is not manhandling the girl or making her life hell and woman who doesnt blush for every single instance when being with the man...Lets see how long they hold up to this...hope writers give a simple story in simple way ...As of now i'm in...

Part Doh: keeping in mind there be some pregnant/new mom sahelis in the CC to avoid passing out from dizziness induced by the length of the post I've decided to split it so here is part deux...

P.S: standard shoomie disaimer applies here too. The cynic in me sending SOS (real wala) flares about the impending satyanash but I've decided to pull a "anjali" and keep the blinders on and enjoy the show for now!

P.P.S : for the chutkis in the CC dont be pulling your hair about my opening and closing lines. You see before satelite TV, cable TV, DD there used to be akasvani/ All India Radio ( those of you who were wondering I swear to God there were no dinosaurs when I was a kid) everyday they had sanskrit news and for some reason it used to be on in our house even though none of us understood a single word me and my siblings were so used to listening to it whenever we wanted to say something important we used to go iyam... For some reason I was reminded of it today so I threw that at you guys!!!

So keeping the tradition, PS and PPS are done now after note :))
I hear by swear on holy snark that I will not subject cyber sahelis to another verbose update atleast for a week!

Pakhi is after my heart till satyanash sets in.The girl can give back as good she gets and that too without any tears !! She is snarky !! Hells bell !!! Thats new in Indian soapland !!!!!.

Sure loved how she puts back Anshuman perfectly and sarcastically when he blames her for the fire.😊

Points to snark on :

Where does she get those sarees huh?? She was a gaon ki gori traipsing in lehengas😔 previously.When did she get time to buy a trousseou?😕
That God-awful cigarette holder/lighter is so 1970s.🤢It reminds me of "Main Loin hoon.Iss pure Bombai shayar ka don.Mona,yeh lo Sona "😆😆
That line of butlers sure puts Edwardian Britain to shame.I mean,the earls and barons had but one butler,one housekeeper,the undermaid,the kitchen maid,the scullery maid etc;here Anshuman Rathod has a retinue of butlers,maids,houseboys and so one.😕
As Shoomie has previously mentioned,the decor is also so like the 70's show(Indian Of course !)
Does all jeejusas have to be ghar jamais without any cervical,dorsal, lumbar or sacral vertebrae? Come on ! Is being a man so difficult ?
Whats with this Di-bhai thing in Soapdom? I am so done with "Di aap toh meri duniya ho ".Can we have something new,peeleej?

I swear I thought about you when the curtains were burning knowing how much you loved them 😈 but they are to be back.. same color too . Anshuman likes to maintain his standing in the society and resists change, the slow unveiling is happening.

So now we have sous-conspirator in Mahji? Tie scene was good, she tightens the noose around his neck as he is planning to cut her loose😉

I saw this after you mentioned, 3 min clip for Life OK twitter or something. When asked about the USP of the show Shraddha replied simplicity - nicely done and I think that is one of the main reasons why quite a few of us are tuning in.
