Piya is an orphan, she moves to Dehradun to pursue her degree after obtaining scholarship. While she is going through the forest at late night to reach Mount College someone passes her way literally fast and Piya wonders "what was that?!" In Mount College, Tanushree ('t') is a senior while Misha is a fresher in Mount College. T sees Piya entering the college and asks Misha to slap her, as a part of ragging. Piya slaps Misha back and their friendship begins. Kabir's brother will be getting married to Misha's sister. Kabir and Misha are good friends. Misha takes Piya for adventure sports.Piya's rope breaks while rappelling. She is about to hit the ground when a man catches her. He disappears into the forest. Misha takes Piya home. Piya is touched by Misha's mother, Madhu's hospitality. (Misha's sister) Panchi, asks Piya to wear one of her dresses for Misha's father's birthday party. T comes to the party and insults Piya when Misha is not around. She runs out of the house crying.Piya runs into the forest and overhears a girl and a boy talking. The boy, Abhay, asks her to leave and disappears. Piya is a bit shaken. She returns to her hostel room where her seniors are drinking and doing drugs.

The next morning Misha comes to Piya's room and realises about the drugs part. The police come to take Piya away. Everyone is shocked when the inspector says that she sells drugs in the college. Meanwhile, Piya is taken to the police station for enquiry and is put inside the prison. The seniors are arrested for selling drugs. Misha's father, Mr.Dobrial -Arnab (Piya's father), comes to take Piya. Piya is shocked to see him. Piya is upset and wonders where her destiny is taking her. Piya is still thinking about the boy who saved her life. Later, Abhay enters the college. The principal is furious at Abhay's arrogant behaviour. The principal asks Abhay to leave as he cannot tolerate Abhay's attitude. Everybody is stunned by Abhay's rudeness. Piya is upset because of Abhay's rudeness towards her. The students come to know that the principal has been fired because he refused admission to Abhay. Piya reaches at Abhay's house to return his phone, which he had dropped in the college. He is very rude to her. Later, Abhay saves Piya from being hit by a truck.

Meanwhile, Abhay confesses to Hassena (Abhay's mother, vampire) that he cannot tolerate being around humans. She asks him teach Piya a lesson in the Dobriyal's party. Later, Everyone celebrates Misha's birthday and Arnab plays old videos of Misha's birthday parties. Piya overhears Maya arguing with Abhay and finds out that Abhay has been ignoring Maya (Roommates of Piya in hostel). Panchi, Misha and Piya are shocked when Maya tells them that she is pregnant. Piya yells at Abhay for not taking up Maya's responsibility. He confesses that he is the father of Maya's child but is unaffected by Piya's accusations. The Raichands find the book 'The Living Dead' in Arnab's collection of rare books. They destroy the book late. Arnab is doubtful because of the way Raichands behaviour. He finds out that Mrs. Raichand tried to burn a book from his collection. On other hand, Madhu realises that Piya is Sugandh and Arnab's daughter. Piya tells Madhu that she wants to keep it secret. She don't want to accept her father because she hates him a lot and she don't want to break Misha and Panchi's heart. Meanwhile, Maya tells Piya that she is going to ask the father of her child to choose between her and his new girlfriend. However, Piya realise that Maya's boyfriend is Danish not Abhay and Maya tells Piya that Abhay is her good friend and he will have no problem if she blame on him. Piya is shock to hear what Maya tells her. Piya confronts Danish and tells him that she knows he is to blame for Maya's condition. And then, Piya and Misha expose Danish by taking Maya's help in front of everyone at Danish bachelor party. Misha brings Panchi to the bachelor party. Panchi slaps Danish. Danish is taken aback to see his truth being revealed in front of his family and Panchi's family. Danish is infuriated as Piya has ruined his life.He tries to attack her but Abhay stops him and hurts himself. Kabir calls the police and Danish is arrested. Piya follows Abhay as he has a bad cut on his hand. She sees Abhay's blood on the floor, and is shocked when the blood evaporates in front of her eyes.

Piya follows Abhay and sees Maithili's grave. Piya find out Maithili (look alike Piya but Piya was unaware of it) is dead whom Abhay supposed to love. Piya remembers Abhay called her Maithali when she slaps him. Abhay confronts her again, asking her to keep out of his life. Later, students are gets ready for a college trip. The students leave for the trip and have fun during the journey wherein Danish bribes the driver of the bus and learns from him students shall visit the fort of Pandher. Piya wonders what Abhay is scared about when he comes closer to her. Abhay knows that Piya would hate him if she came to know his reality. Abhay predicts that something wrong is going to happen. Abhay refuses to accompany the students to the fort of Pandher (where Maithali lived) and stays in the bus. The students listen to the caretaker of the fort of Pandher, when he narrates the love story of Princess Maithali. Kabir and Piya wander off in the fort without listening to his story. Kabir talks to Piya about going in the car. When she refuses, he confronts her. They both end up arguing. Piya is lost inside the fort and is locked in. She tries calling her friends.

Meanwhile, Sugandh's lawyer tells Arnab, that Sugandh died of cancer and their daughter, Piyali (Piya), is alive. Piya is unable to get out of the fort as evening sets. She is scared when she sees a figure walking down the stairs. Piya tries to hide from the figure. It's Danish and he screams for her to come out. Abhay saves Piya on time and goes in search of the man who tried to attack her. Piya is shocked to see a painting of Maithali in the fort. Piya insists on knowing from Abhay as to why he carries a picture of Princess Maithali in his wallet. Abhay makes a story to fool her.Danish meets Chand and tells him about the incident in the fort. Chand promises to help Danish against Piya. Abhay and Piya are leaving the forest when Abhay spots Chand with the man who was trying to attack Piya. Piya sprains her ankle while hiding with Abhay. Abhay lifts her as she's unable to walk. Kabir calls Misha to talk to Piya. The students were under the impression that Piya is with Kabir. They realise they've left Piya behind. Abhay and Piya ask for lift from three guys in a jeep. After sometime, they pretend that their vehicle has broken down and ask Abhay to get some water. Piya is being teased by the three guys when Abhay stops them and beats them. The students find Abhay and Piya. The students are shocked to see the goons in an unconscious condition and their jeep turned over. They question Abhay on this. Abhay tells Piya that she is unsafe and shouldn't be alone. Panchi and Misha agree to this and ask her to stay with them for the time being.

Piya panics when she finds out that her mother's pendant is missing. Abhay goes in search of it. Abhay visits the Pandher fort in search of Piya's pendant. He is reminded of his past with Maithali. Abhay brings Piya's pendant wrapped in a cloth and returns it to her. He screams in pain when the chain and pendant fall on his hand. Piya is shocked to see wounds on Abhay's hand. She realises that Abhay is definitely keeping a secret. Piya questions Abhay over various incidents and he justifies his answers. He is stunned when Piya asks him about the silver chain falling on his hand and him screaming in pain. Meanwhile, Piya does a research keeping Abhay's behaviour in mind. She is shocked to see that the results are for vampires. Abhay comes to know that Piya was doing a research on vampires. Piya finds out through Misha that Arnab has a collection of books on vampires. Piya reads a book on vampires from Arnab's collection. She is baffled as the description matches with that of Abhay's behaviour. Piya asks for help from Abhay on her research. Abhay is stunned when Piya says her subject is vampires. Later she gets to know that Abhay is vampire and decides to leave Dehradun. Abhay feels betrayed by Piya as she wanted to know his reality. Misha wonders if Pia is in love. Misha is shocked to know from the hostel warden that Piya has left college. Abhay meets Piya at the bus stop but doesn't stop her from leaving and helps her with her luggage. Piya leaves for Delhi. But when her bus stops, she realises that she is still in love with Abhay. She decides to head back to Dehradun. Piya returns to her hostel and finds Misha. Misha scolds Piya for leaving her and her family. Abhay is confused about whether he should be happy or sad to see Piya back. Piya meets Abhay. When he denies being in love with her, she reminds him of the times when she felt his love. Abhay gets aggressive and reminds Piya that he is an animal. He clarifies that there cannot be a relationship between both of them.

Panchi gets a job in Siddharth office. Meanwhile, Abhay gets to know that Sid is back to take revenge from them. Abhay tries to protect Piya from him but Piya meets Sid for the job and Sid is shocked to see her and realises why Abhay was hiding her from him (because she looks alike Maithali, Sid also used to love Maithali). Later Sid said Piya that he loves Panchi and Piya is happy for her sister. Siddharth makes Piya believe that he has invited Panchi to the forest. Piya sends a message to Panchi as she wants her to come soon to the forest. Meanwhile, Abhay meets Siddharth and is not scared of the silver chains put up by him. He confronts Siddharth reminding him that Maithali was in love with him and not Siddharth. Siddharth sees Piya coming and behaves as if Abhay was about to attack him. He pretends to be scared saying Abhay was turning into an animal. Piya begs Abhay to leave, though he tries to warn her.

Haseena senses danger. Siddharth is about to bite Piya. Abhay snatches her from him and bites her. Later, he is guilty of biting Piya but realises he had no other option to save her from Siddharth. He brings Piya home. Chand and Haseena are shocked to find out that Abhay had to bite Piya. Chand decides to revive an unconscious Piya. Abhay tells Haseena that he will not let her commit a mistake like last time. Abhay tells Piya that he has always loved her, and will continue to do so.

Haseena meets Siddharth. She is angry at him for not taking her advice and creating a mess. Panchi is going to Siddharth's house to give him flowers. She is stunned to see Haseena outside his house. Panchi reaches Siddharth's house. He is happy to see her as he plans to bite her. Meanwhile, Piya's instincts tell her that Panchi is in danger. Siddharth senses Abhay and Piya's arrival and does not bite Panchi. Later, Abhay comes to meet Piya and she tells him that she is unable to sleep. Abhay informs Chand that the preliminary symptoms are increasing by the day,mPiya is unable to sleep at night. Next day in college, Abhay and Piya get closer. Siddharth plans to reveal their relationship . In hostel at night, Piya bumps into her hostel-mate which makes her nail break and her finger starts bleeding. Piya is attracted to drink that blood. Meanwhile, Sid plans to marry Panchi because by this way he wants to get Piya. Siddharth decides to have dinner with the Dobriyal's when he finds out that Piya is coming there as well. He reaches at the Dobriyal house and sees Abhay waiting there. They land up in an argument again. Danish meets Arnab and Madhu and warns them about Siddharth. Arnab gets furious and throws him out of the house. The morning sunlight falls on Piya while she is sleeping. When she gets up she sees a sun-burn and is feeling irritated. Piya talks to Abhay about the problems she was having. He assures her that everything is fine. Later, she meets Abhay in the locker room and says she is scared about what's happening with her. She shows him the sun-burn. Abhay heals Piya's sun-burn. He is worried about the day Piya will realise that she is turning into a vampire.

Misha tells Piya that she feels Abhay likes Piya. She reminds her about the party at home. Misha finds an old picture of her parents and spots Piya's mother, Sugandh, in the picture as well. She is overjoyed to think that Sugandh was Arnab's old friend. Arnab gives a speech and raises a toast for Madhu, on their 25th wedding anniversary. Piya is lost in the past. Arnab and Madhu speak to Siddharth's parents. Arnab is struck by doubts when Siddharth's father says he has studied in Kolkata while Siddharth had said he had studied from Ahmedabad. Haseena informs Chand about Siddharth's plan to marry Panchi. Chand says they have to take action. Arnab questions Siddharth over the fact that his parents do not know about the institute he has studied from. Siddharth manages to fool Arnab by saying that he has brought his foster parents, as his own parents died when he was a child. Abhay steals the CD that is to be played in the party for Arnab and Madhu. Misha catches him in the study and confronts him. She is taken aback when Piya comes to rescue Abhay. Misha and Piya land up in a heated argument. Piya provokes Arnab to speak up the truth, but Misha gets furious and pushes her. Piya is thrown at a glass book shelf and bleeds heavily due to her wounds. Arnab spills out the truth. Abhay, Chand and Haseena take Piya away. The Dobriyal family is in shock and Misha confronts Arnab. Madhu slaps Misha and is furious at her for judging Arnab without finding out the whole truth. Madhu tells Panchi and Misha about Sugandh and Arnab.

Abhay asks Chand and Haseena to leave as he wants to save Piya. Haseena warns him about how dangerous it can be for him. He wishes that Piya survives through the night as she will then become human again. Later they saved Piya. Madhu finds out about the landslide at Kasauli and is thankful that her family is safe. The students at Mount College are shocked to know about the landslide as well. A police inspector calls Abhay from Chand's phone but Piya picks up the call. She is shocked to know that Chand was in Kasauli and that his condition is critical. Despite knowing the truth, Siddharth asks the doctors to take Chand's blood test. Abhay comes in time to stop the doctors from doing so, but Siddharth's emotional drama foils Abhay's plans. Haseena has to find out about Chand and meets Kabir on the way. She is shocked to know that Siddharth is in the hospital with Abhay and Chand.

Meanwhile, Abhay is worried as Piya agrees to donate her blood for Arnab. Siddharth provokes Piya by saying that her blood looks like that of vampires. He discusses the symptoms she had showed and says it is all bookish knowledge that he has. Piya questions Abhay, whether he bit her. She is terrified to know the truth. Misha comes just in time to save Arnab as she brings blood for him. Later, she resolves all her differences with Piya. Abhay tells Haseena that Piya knows he bit her. She is stunned and tells him how she helped in stealing Chand's reports. Chand, Haseena and Abhay are leaving from the hospital when they meet Siddharth. Chand confronts Siddharth over the blood tests. Later, Piya is shocked to find out that Abhay's elder brother was in the hospital. Piya feels betrayed as Abhay never told her about having an elder brother. She feels their relationship is based on lies. Abhay is frustrated as the next night will be a full moon night. He is angry that the truth was revealed to Piya, and it couldn't wait for one night as he would've taken her back to being human. Piya derives information from the internet about Abhayendra Singh. She's only able to get the story of his life, but is unable to find out his brother's name. Haseena meets Madhu and is shocked to find out that Siddharth and Panchi are getting married. She informs Abhay of this and tells him that she is going to Siddharth's place.

Later, Arnab realises that there's something wrong about Siddharth at the right time and still in a shock to realise about Siddharth. Piya asks Siddharth about the story of Abhayendra Singh and his brother. She is shocked to hear what Siddharth tells her. He tells her also that he knows from where this story has started. (Piya asked the question to Siddharth because he said to Piya that he knows lot of things about history and he also knows about Raichands) Siddharth takes Piya in the burnt house. (The place where Abhay died with his brother Siddharth and his ex lover Maithali) Meanwhile, Arnab calls Mr. Hasti (Vampire catcher) who tells the whole family that Siddharth is a vampire. When they refuse to believe him, Arnab tells them that Siddharth had kidnapped him. Arnab tells the family what all had happened after he was kidnapped. Mr. Hasti sees a picture of Piya and recalls the story of Maithali (Because she looks alike Piya and Arnab calls Mr. Hasti because he reads lot of books about vampires and has doubt that Siddharth must be a vampire). Piya is petrified to see Maithali (She was dead but now turned into a vampire by Siddharth) at burnt house. She is shocked to realise that Siddharth is Abhay's brother and that Maithali and Siddharth are in a plan together. Piya tries to convince Maithali that Abhay has always loved her. Maithali tells Piya that Siddharth has given her the life of a vampire, and her love story with Abhay is over. Siddharth locks Piya in a chest and breaks her phone.

Meanwhile, T reaches the spot as she's spying on Siddharth and Piya. She informs of this to Misha and Panchi. Misha and Panchi reach the burnt house along with Mr. Hasti. Maithali and Siddharth take the next step of their plan. Meanwhile, Abhay hears Piya's voice for help. He's able to connect to her and is shocked to know what she is saying. Siddharth warns Piya not to try and talk to Abhay, or else he will have to bite her. Meanwhile, Mr. Hasti reveals to Panchi and Misha that Maithali is not dead and has turned into a vampire. Chand is furious at Haseena for letting Abhay go to the burnt house. When she tells him about Piya's message for Abhay which involves Maithali, he suspects that Maithali has been turned into a vampire by Siddharth.

Siddharth takes away Piya and T into the forest. Abhay is looking for Piya when Chand and Haseena reach there. They are shocked to realise that they're surrounded by wolves. Mr. Hasti leaves Misha, Panchi and Maithali (She disguised as Piya) in a circle created by him with a powder. It will keep them protected. When Abhay calls on Misha's phone, Maithali snatches it away as she doesn't want to invite trouble. Piya attacks Siddharth with her silver chain and runs away along with T. Meanwhile, Misha spots Maithali without her chain and asks her about it. She realises that she is not Piya. Misha sends a message to Panchi informing her that it's Maithali and not Piya. They both run away only to be caught by Maithali again. Haseena and Chand come to Piya and T. Haseena asks them to crush the leaves of eucalyptus as Siddharth and Maithali won't be able to stand it. Meanwhile, Mr. Hasti tracks down Abhay. Abhay convinces Mr. Hasti that he has no evil intentions and that he is looking for Siddharth as well. Meanwhile, Siddharth and Chand land up in a fight. Siddharth tells Chand about his wish of being a ruler and how it is possible. Chand calls for Abhay when Siddharth calls for the wolf. Abhay decides to go after Siddharth and Maithali. Mr. Hasti supports him. Meanwhile, Maithali connects to Piya and informs her about Misha and Panchi being with her. Siddharth leaves Chand and Haseena to fight with the wolf. Abhay reaches there and kills the wolf. Meanwhile, Maithali is about to bite Misha when Piya reaches there. Arnab calls Misha but Maithali wants Piya to talk to him and tell him that they all are fine. Piya calls him 'Daddy' which she never does. Arnab figures out that his daughters are in trouble. Abhay and Siddharth land up in a fight. Piya returns to save Abhay and is shocked to see the outcome of the fight. Abhay kills Siddharth. Maithali threatens to kill Piya, but she escapes as Mr. Hasti saves her. Maithali takes hold of Abhay and he is unable to kill her. She vows to take him captive. Abhay wipes out Piya's memory, in spite of her begging him not to do so. He ties a pendant around her neck which will protect her. Arnab and his family come in search of her and find her unconscious. Abhay gets buried under snow.

1 year later

1 year has passed and Piya returns in Dehradun from Paris (she is a super model now). She doesn't remember anything about Dehradun but she feels attracts to the jungle where Abhay is frozen, she tries to find out, why she is so attracted to jungle. Later, she meets Jeh Khurana (Who is werewolf, Piya is unaware of it and he comes in Dehradun to takes revenge from Abhay as Abhay killed his brother). Piya saves Abhay from ice without knowing him. Abhay returns to Mount college to save his father from dying. He decides to stay away from Piya because he thinks Piya will be in danger again if she is with him. Abhay is very rude to her, and Piya acts like she hates him too, but doesn't understand why she feels attracted towards him. She tries to hate him, but she falls in love with him again. On other hand, Jeh becomes Piya's good friend and falls in love with her. Meanwhile, Abhay learns Deepanita (Jeh's mother) and her family are werewolves, and the battles begin! Piya witnesses that Abhay killed Deepanita and informs Jeh about this. Furious Jeh lands in forest and by seeeing her mother dead, he turns into werewolf. Later, Deepanita is saved by Alina (Jeh's sister & hated by Deepanita) by her elder brother's spirit (whom Abhay killed) Later, after many hurdles and misunderstandings Piya regains her memory back and reunites with Abhay secretly because Abhay thinks that Piya's life would be in danger. On the other hand, Alina falls for Abhay and proposes him to which he forcefully agrees. Seeing Abhay and Alina together, Pia gets annoyed and jealous and expected misunderstandings come between both again. A big fight occurs in which Deepanita dies, and Pia comes to know about Jeh's reality. Misha on the other side falls for Kabir as he was in love with her. Panchi dies because of Maithli leaving Danish heartbroken, Arnab leaves home and becomes a vampire. While, Abhay converts from a vampire to a human because of a magical potion and leaves Dehradun along with Pia.

3 months later

Abhay-Piya live together in Mumbai for higher studies. And then, after few days, Abhay completely turns into human by the help of magical potion. On the other hand everything turns upside-down in Dobrial mansion. Misha agrees to marry Danish instead of Kabir due to Panchi's last wish of comforting and taking care of her fiance and also because Kabir too unwillingly breaks her heart. But after Jeh kidnaps Pia and brings her back, Abhay too returns to save her .After a great fight, Jeh is killed by Arnab[as he was a vampire at that time],and Abhay was permanently made humans by the vampire clan's head and was sent back alive. Madhu to fulfill her daughter's desire of marrying her love, lets Kabir to sit in the mandap instead of Danish as he backout's because he only loved Panchi and will always love her. Piya gets worried after seeing her father at the wedding because she was told that only one of them[abhay or arnab]would be alive,thinking Abhay sacrificed his life again for her she breaks down, but Abhay suddenly returns and the two embrace.Later, they get married. The last episode was (which was the grand wedding )aired for 2 hours on 15 December'11. Popular celebrity faces like Gurmeet Choudhary aka Maan, Sanaya Irani aka Khushi/Gunjan & Drashti Dhami aka Geet performed on Abhay-Piya's wedding. And the show ended with a happy ending.
