He shot to fame as Arnav Singh Raizada (ASR) " the male lead character in the TV series, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Born in Delhi on 21 August 1984, he completed his education in Delhi after which he worked as an operation manager at a telecom company for seven years and pursued modelling side by side. After shifting base to Mumbai, Barun's TV career kickstarted with Shraddha. He is also recognised for playing the lead role of Shravan Jaiswal, in the serial Baat Hamari Pakki Hai.
