How far is the gym from your place?

I would say let's say you start Saturday. go to the gym in the morning. atleast 30-40 minutes cardio.
the rest you can do home which is Squats. they will work perfectly.

then skip one day, go to the gym on monday
and then wednesday.
and then friday.

then you can take saturday, sunday off and start on monday again .

are you veg?

If you say so. Overall I kind of like my body the way it is but I understand some parts shouldn't be all bones. I think it will work out once I find my balance between cardio and strength exercises. Though that will come later, once I actually start. The gym is about 10 minutes away.

I would put that in play this week but the only day I would go is Friday and that's not the best time to start because of the weekend coming up, my routine will be broken before it even starts :(

I am kind of a veg. I was pure veg for about 2 and a half years but my parents forced me to eat eggs because they said I wasn't looking healthy. Now I only eat eggs, no meat of any kind or seafood. I think it'll be 5 years of being veg this coming July. What about you?

I'm not but 85% I am. Like I try to avoid meat as much as I can. But it's also essential.
The reason why you can say "you're small" it's because you don't eat meat, and your muscles need protein in order to grow. You can take veg protein. Like Spinach has a lot of protein. I would say protein shakes but I'm not a big fan of them and they are costly as well.

You get tired after 5 mins because you never developped your strenght. Going to the gym at this point will tire you,you will only be able to jog.

When I broke my ankle, I had a lot of problems tooo.

I could only do 10 mins jog and would get tired, but going everyday, I noticed everytime I was increasing minutes. Now I can go upto 30 minutes with honey singh beats , jogging/running.

So I would suggest you start doing these at home, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87ynaOgFplw (they are the best. they work for you from head to toe. best excercise ever. instead of going to gym , do 100 of these in a day, EVERYDAY. You will see your stamina will increase and you will notice you are getting less tired when you run.

Ah ok. Yes, I learned the hard way how important is to make up for the protein and even iron that you are missing. I have changed my diet accordingly to include more veg protein and iron.

Yes, I understand. There's the cardio running program that my uncle started last year and he forwarded it to me just a couple months ago. It slowly builds you up for running 5 km - starting with just walking and jogging for certain intervals to running for longer intervals and walking for fewer. 30 minutes is really really good Zoya! During the summer at the gym I would always listen to bhangra music to pump me up 😆

I will defintely try with the squats, it's a good way to get started and there's no excuse for it since it can just be done at home.

Now just for clarification - I'll still be going to the gym to start my cardio next week, right? And then squats is something I will do alongside everyday as training at home?

How do you know so much about this anyway? 😆
