happy diwali.

hope the festive days are going happy and bright and full of pataka, mithai, friends, more.

we are in the middle of moving house.

after working for others for nearly 30 years, my husband is starting out on his own, a long cherished dream of his... i am feeling a sense of such satisfaction i can't quite describe.

i don't really celebrate diwali anymore. and never have i ever seen anyone in the family observe dhan teras as bengalis never did have that custom.

but guess what. he became officially his own employer on that day. and so to celebrate ha ha i went and bought myself a fat gold chain.

he is jewish, has no idea of such things, but i insisted in a high pitched voice on the phone and he was sort of too taken aback to say what the.

it was fun.

Hi everyone, Wish you all a very happy Diwali. Will be busy today but will pop in the thread here and there. So I didn't see any news on MAMR trailer. So who all thinks it is better to postpone the movie to Jan 10th next year rather than releasing on Dec 13th with just a week of run time.
