He was glorified because of that.

The same with Yudhishtir. For the sake of Dharm he lets anything happen. I dislike him the most.

I'm looking for a good book on the Mahabharata in English. I have one but the flowery prose is too much for me to handle.

There's also a Twitter account that tells the story from Bheem's POV.

Same here man..I have never felt that terrible for a character😆 Right from the time he was abandoned to the time he was insulted for he belonged to the lower caste to the time he was rejected by Druopadi-every single time..And his loyalty towards Duryodhana simply because he stood up for him when he had no one else, you can connect to it and understand every single action of his..

But that Eklavya story and the other one when he brings Subhadra home and Draupadi is upset so he tells Subhadra to take off all her finery and fall at Draupadi's feet made me hate him😆

He willingly giving his armor to Lord Indra. He just doesn't deserve to be treated that way.
