See, online activity can be very misleading. I agree, Barun has fans across the globe, but is that enough to get the movies released internationally? And if it's Oct release, which is festival time, there will be a lot more competition from big budget movies too….

Yes Tanya... they didn't cast Barun for his huge popularity actually... they came to know that later... I don't think Adeeb ever thought his small foray into BW will get so much attention. But as I said ... box office is a different game. lets see. I wish that this movie does atleast average business and recovers its costs... and the talented people in it get recognition for more projects in future.

Actually Tanya ... more than his confidence... the little bits of info that were in adeeb's interview is what got me excited. Ab ek ho toh batau ... 😆 ... but yeah... felt good to read all that about Barun!

I agree Polly, I don't think they (or even Barun for that matter) thought about how popular he actually was. I still remember how perplexed I was at the whole halla when Barun took leave from the show.

October is a really tough time, as the competition would be very tough. Big PHs would trample smaller ones & it's cut throat as well. Remember the whole Son of Sardar vs Yash Chopra movie??? SoS lost and threatened to split the industry as well…

Hmm, UK maybe seeing how fans went nuts during SPA. But then he lost fans when he left as well. I guess, it's the PHs choice & how they market the movie!
