Agree Polly, I know Sanaya says she doesn't like doing crying scenes, but she does that best. Comedy is not something that comes naturally…. She needs a lot of input and direction to get that right, but emotional scene, that is spot on.

See, she had emotional scene with Anuj too, but it's her scenes with Supriya that stands out… Emotional scenes with Anuj (which is essentially a husband wife conversation), just doesn't feel like a hubby-wife conversation i.e. convo between equals. Her scenes with Dadaji is also a lot better than Anuj. Maybe Anuj is not taking this seriously as the rest of the cast because he has other things set out for himself. I don't know. But the weakest link in this show is CC's family & Anuj. Even Simple as a friend, is not an equal.

My nephew turned 6 months old today, they are in India right now for vacation. They did Annaprasana today(first rice ceremony) just now my BIL posted pic I am so elated he touched both book and money at sametime in the ceremony . he looked so cute with chubby cheeks 😛

Polly, I agree romance is important. In DABH, Suraj is Sandhya's rock. Here, Manav is not. ChannChann and Manav are not in the same place. I think this has got to do with the lack of understanding between C & M. Yes, a strong foundation between husband and wife is necessary for a good Saas Bahu show, but here, that foundation hasn't been laid. They were married well before that was set. It's very difficult to actually say where C & M stand as a couple. That relationship sketch is really shaky..
