Anuj enjoys a comfort level with Sanaya which reflects on screen too. "We are good friends and that reflects on-screen too. Sanaya's cool and chilled about everything. I used to think I am the only one who doesn't think before talking, but she's like that too," he says.

The actor hopes that the audience enjoy their pairing as well. "I understand it's difficult to accept a new pair. But more than her talking about our chemistry on-screen, I want the audiences to talk about it. When they do, it won't matter that they liked her with Barun a while ago," he says.

Barun and Sanaya's popularity during their show IPKKND was immense. The couple's chemistry was loved by the audience, who later didn't want him to be replaced with any other actor when he quit the show. In fact, there has been immense pressure on Chhanchhan's team to recreate the magic of Barun-Sanaya's chemistry.

Newcomer Farhan Khan, who was cast opposite Sanaya, was unable to click with the audience which is why he was replaced with Anuj. The show has got stable since then, but Anuj also credits the storyline for the same. "It takes time to get viewers back. Now they like the post marriage story between Manav, Chhanchhan and Manav's mom."

i hav not seen such an "intelligent" specimen of an actor and such an idiotic PH in my life!! seriously??? immense pressure on chhanchhan team to recreate barun sanaya chemistry... in a senseless saas-bahu caper?? if only they would give this much thought on improving the senseless script of this show, they could at least got some viewers!! which sane viewer from the audience base of this show even watches this thing for "chemistry"? few online pankhis?? a simple heart warming relationship portrayal between newly weds was all that was required...show that wid sensitivity and this jodi would have found their own niche! but no...they have to work towards competing with an old couple of an out and out romantic!😵

and that Awwnuj can think about going beyond two expressions in the show before wanting audience to forget barun!🤢
