Add to it good music, direction and screenplay. Each scene gives a bit more of the character be it leads or the supporting ones in a subtle way. No character is good or bad. Even the Bhabi, she did not like it when she was left behind but covered it up to keep her face. Also they dress normally 😃 Last but not the least all not just good actors but good looking actors. Yesterdays episode was best so far. Supriya ... Love her.

Sarada in Do Dil too much creativity spend on Rahgu's scenes, wish they would tone it down. Antara is nice but she is just not getting the conflicting emotions right. So giving it a pass as off now, hopefully it picks up. There is potential for the show to do good.

Let me see if Bhabhi interests me. I will catch maybe 1-2 weeks later because right now busy in work and somehow wimbeldon seems to be great this time around. Was stunned to know that Nadal crashed out in first round. So maybe will catch the matches here and there.

There is potential for Do Dil to do better but the actors are very raw - like Antara is unable to do different emotions and so is the guy playing Raghu. Somehow the character of Raghu has been written larger than life. But I am liking the scenes of Mama/Mami and Antara's mom. All 3 are acting good.

It was sad to see Nadal lose for his health, just luck cannot win games ... Oops that last part was from debate with bro 😛 Hope he will not venture anymore till he recovers completely.

Antara mom is brilliant in her scenes ... Like her but in Do Dil love story is not coming out well ... I liked their window scenes though.

As a wholesome product it was Veera, Dastaan and now Meri Bhabi. MB is better than D as it has good mix of heavy and light moments, also the concept is not dark and based on deceit of the man. Later applies the Veera too, though the bro-sis part is brilliant Ratan's story which is parallel falls flat.

In MB as Sherdil Shergill they had the idea of a single mom as supermom ... Yesterday when dad said you won't just learn how to walk again but will fly ... I don't think they have deviated from the concept much though it is SPfied with the Bhabi mix.

Anyways I am happy to watch a show without stating they could have done this part better. I do like nice family dramas as much as my P&P hero heroine ... ZGH was an odd mix of both. Or IPK of the first 8 months.

Agree with you Sama. Nadal should have taken a break and his health is not in great shape. He just won the French open should have taken a break for wimbeldon. Hopefully he will not venture out till he is fit and fine.

In Do Dil, somehow my gut feeling is they are over harping the angst angle. Since GH is there in the creative team, somehow I feel they are trying to do ASR part 2 here. But Raghu himself is a don kind of person so I don't think you need to harp on the angst part. Sultan in MB is much better written character. Either the writing is not good or the actor is not able to portray the emotions correctly. Like Antara's mom but unless they give another dimension to the character, it is pity that they are wasting a good actor. Love Mami and Mama and appa's scenes.

Somehow with SP my experience is not too great. Any good product and within few months you will have a khichdi in making. I loved SGP - till the creatives stayed true to the original story. Then came the amnesia track and everything got butchered in the show by the SP creatives. Doubt how long they will let the show retain the original concept for Meri Bhabhi before the butchering starts. Its been 4 months since SC started and it already has become a khichdi - like Saras and Kumud had a one night fling, and now they are having Karwa Chauth sequence it seems. How the hell does Karwa chauth come in July - I am stumped. It would have been okay if they said it was Teej but Karwa chauth and that too when the actual festival comes in November. For all I think, they may even show Kumud becoming pregnant too due to the night 🥱 - Complete utter ridiculous storyline which bears no resemblance to the original classic. That is what I fear will happen to Bhabhi too. So not very interested in following it - once bitten twice shy you see. But let's hope it clicks and maybe 1-2 weeks down the lane when the show is all set, hopefully we all can discuss the show together.

With SC or CC even the initial week could not make believe that its something promising, though both were given chance for the makers and actors popularity. Here in MB thats not the case. I did not expect anything, after all its named Meri Bhabi but it impressed me on its own. Now if they go in khichdi direction I will stop watching it like the rest. To me it does not matter that its SP ... Its not like other channels are churning out brilliant shows and maintaining it. It is applicable to my desi box too.

Dastaan a show pulled off without giving it a chance ... Huge and well known star cast. Loved how each one reacted to the fate of their show.

See that is the problem with me Sama. Once I start watching, I am drawn to it. It's like people have mentioned on the thread - like a train wreck coming on and you know it but you just can't avoid looking at it. But yes after IPK ended, I am able to switch off shows at a relatively easy pace. Maybe I should now follow soaps only till they are decent and just move on if the direction or story is pointless. Can't afford to have an train wreck in the making. By the way haven't seen any new shows coming on air after IPL. I thought YRK is going to be off air by this month's end but doesn't look like it. Hmm, Is SP afraid to start new shows given that all of their new releases since last year didn't even get decent TRPs save for Veera - like ek doosre, khoobsurat, kaali, SC . SP is raking in TRPs only due to their old horses dragging the points and weekend shows. Need to see how MB raked in the first week.

Satyanash in Behna show. Seems like Jeevika - Viren are going to have baby through surrogacy. For all the nayi soch SP goes on harping why can't they for once go ahead and show Viren and Jeevika adopting a child and giving the child their love and warmth. Why should they go and show surrogacy and that too when there are so many reports coming out in newspapers saying that poor women in Gujarat are being exploited by this procedure. Truly disappointed.
