Drashti Dhami (born January 10, 1985)is an very famous and popular Indian television actress and model. She is well known for her popular roles in Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon , Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi and Dill Mill Gayye.[1]

Drashti's brother Jaisheel Dhami and sister-in-law Suhasi Goradia Dhami are contestants on dance show Nach Baliye 5. Suhasi stars in Zee TV soap Aaj Ki Housewife Hai...Sab Jaanti Hai alongside Anirudh Dave.
Drashti Dhami has done many advertisements and was known for her modelling before she forayed into the TV industry. She made her debut with the music video, "Saiyan Dil Mein Aana Re" by Harry Anand. She was later seen in a Punjabi music video "Nachle Soniye Tu" and in the remix version of "Humko Aaj Kal Hai Intezar". Before her debut in Dill Mill Gayye, Dhami appeared in commercial advertisements for products such as Chevrolet andReliance Mobile. She has also done commercials for Colgate (toothpaste) with Saif Ali Khan, Lion Honey, Pulimoottil SILKS, Vasan Eye care, RKS Grand (Shopping Mall),Amul, VIP Bags and jewellery.
Drashti Dhami debuted as Dr. Muskaan Chadda in Dill Mill Gayye. She got her big break with STAR One's Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi, launched on the 5th April 2010, where she plays the protagonist of the show, opposite Gurmeet Choudhary. The role brought her both recognition and popularity.[1] Since May 2012 she is seen as Madhubala aka Madhu inMadhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon opposite Vivian Dsena on Colors TV.

Creatives at Colors' Madhubala (Nautanki Telefilms) seem to be working really hard to stay ahead in the number race. Why? For they keep penning one intriguing plot after another which keep audiences glued to the show.
Now, reporters at Tellychakkar.com have learnt that talented and veteran actor Kannan Arunachalam has been signed on to add more masala to the already spicy scheme of things.
For the uninitiated, Kannan has acted in shows like Shobha Somnath Ki, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo and Na Aana Iss Desh Laado.
So what will he be doing in Madhubala? Let's find out…
Kannan will be seen as Sultan's (Avinesh Rekhi) father. The father heartlessly abandoned Sultan when he was a kid. However, now Sultan will meet him and ask a few questions about the past.
The revelation will be shocking as Sultan will learn some dark reality about his life, which would also be responsible for his father's 'abandoning' act.
