On the above addiction post.. Some more I remembered..

Once for few months i downloaded , bought whatever I could do every Paul Newman movie.. I couldn't watch ALL but watched most that I could.. How did it start? I realized that a movie has been made on thus book exodus which I quite like and wanted to see how it has translated on screen.. The hero of that movie was Paul Newman and thus started my obsession..

Then I went thru the BBC literary adaptations phase where I downloaded everything I could, got some CDs from the Bangalore British library etc...

What else.. I actually have never liked hp movies but I think some 2 years back suddenly started following Dan radcliffe's career though I don't think he is a great actor.. But something in his personality impressed me.. Now I m no longer interested and I don't know what changed..

Was a huge hrithik fan and obsessed with forums and Internet fandom of his especially koi mil Gaya to lakshya times.. Now I m least bothered..

There is no logic or pattern to my attachments..

Good to read about your addictions. 😆

If I have to be honest, I will say I have never been addicted to or obsessed with anything in life, until Madhubala. I have had my favorite shows and books. I read them, liked them and moved on. But this show made me realize for the first time, how obsessed I can be with something totally non-existent and fictional. I guess, one of the main reasons that I got so addicted to the show was the fact that my social life took a back seat drastically. In my university, I always had friends around me, and so never felt the need to indulge in any TV show. I pretty much went with the flow, and did what everyone else was doing.

But after coming here, it became tough. Not many people here, as its a completely professional environment. My outings were pretty less as compared to my University days. I kind of sought refuge in MBland from my not so interesting life here. 😆 I am pretty sure, if I had same number of friends and social life to keep me engaged, even RK would not have managed to ensnare me like this. 😆

I love victory of eagles.. Wasn't the climax battle spectacular? And temeraire coming of age was brilliant.. Yet I love that he is still vain and childish at times but is a natural leader and individualistic..

I loved the series. And it is really very good. Thanks for the recommendation. I finished the 6th one. And started the seventh this morning. I'm halfway through.

Ananya, I am not against sad endings .. just that I don't want to get upset and philosophical right now which is what will happen if I watch such a movie. There are days when I want to watch everything happy go lucky and days when I like watching serious drama.

I finished the 7th book. Now I'm wondering which book to start on next.

On my tour there was a guy 2 years elder to me who was reading Game of Thrones book 1. He told me not to get attached to any character. And I was reminded of Minu telling me to do the same.

As for addictions, I am just like Minu 😊

There is no set pattern.. I move from one addiction to another...

and there is no time frame for each addiction either..

I have a lot of friends who are like you Ana...but you do have

a point there.. As long as your social life keeps you busy, you dont

have time for addictions.

Mridu, what you said about watching movies...I am just like that...

There are days i want to watch just comedies, or just dramas, or

just thrillers.. but sad endings dont appeal to me as much but there

are exceptions..😊

Finally ended up catching up on RM scenes of the entire week...

Even though i caught up, don't know where they are going with the

story...just felt that they are dragging it.

It is like having a root canal done on your tooth...😭

Because since we knew the story of MK from Rashid, there has

been no significant development in the story.. other than the drama

in sitara studio and moving of sultan into RK mansion both of which

has achieved nothing towards the MK story.

If there is no mystery in the MK story and the entire story has been

told by Rashid, then what is the damn twist? I think there is no twist...

they just keep saying there is a twist for the viewers to come and see

what the twist is..😡

Anyway, it is sad that such a promising show has taken such

a turn that there is nothing redeemable anymore.

Even if they get rid of Sultan character, there is nothing to look

forward in the show... Just felt like writing this in the hope of

gaining a proper closure to a loved show. 😔

I completely agree with u Krithika! Due to this Sultanism the show has been completely destroyed, so much so that even his exit leaves no hope for the show! Unless they are able to recreate the magic of the earlier days, which looks doubtful, I think the show is well on its way to its premature ending! And that's fine by me I must say!

I am watching random old scenes..
watched the following which i had only watched ones earlier for some reason...

1. when madhu comes to rk's shooting during paddy-malik wedding and RK gets uncomfortable doing the romantic scene.. RK refuses to hug and says bina hug ke intensity aa rahi hai.. director says... heroine ne physics and chemistry exam mein pass nahin kiya hai jo aap use shabashi de rahe hai 🤣🤣

Seeing this scene I was just thinking how is VD able to do scenes with DD when his wife is on the sets so much? shouldnt be give some space when a romantic scene is being shot?

2. The washroom jane ka scene during KC

3. RK feeding MB after that...

The thing i liek best about the old RM scenes is even if the setup is sometimes same as other serials like feeding, shirt ka button silana etc.. RM scenes are different because they are all the time conversing.. that is why enjoy their scenes together.. had this been some other show it would be some background music or song and the scene
