simi...u see mountain peaks, more ice & snow all around u. It was a huge area...huge huge chunk of ice/glacier...its like you are standing on a field...made of ice...so there is no "down" view...u can just look all around u. But apparently that field is so thick that u can bury the eiffel tower underneath it! Hundreds of years of snow accumulation which got pressed into ice due to its own weight.

But now it seems due to global warming the icefield is not getting as much snow in the winter as much as it is melting in the summer...so the height is reducing bit by bit every year.

Wow u have been to paris! ...mere wish list mein hsin...kabhi toh jaana hai in future. 😳

Yup u r right. I personally though is not much connected to Bengal because I have been travelling around the country since I was a kid. The education also was at different places.
I can speak, read and write bengali, though. However, if I write then it looks like the handwriting of a 8 yrs old 😆. Never had the language in school too.
