Did Kushal Tandon and Niaa Sharma smooch for an intense romantic sequence in Star Plus' Ek Hazaaron?

Lip-locks and intense romantic sequences usually come as a breather in Indian television, and grab quite a lot of eye-balls. Well, after Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar entertained one and all with one such close moment in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, this trend has stayed on.

Wondering why we are talking about this now? Aah, romance is in the air for the two couples in Star Plus' Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain (Cinevistaas Ltd). The ambience is set with the number 'Tum Hi Ho' from Aashiqui 2 playing in the background. The entire house is left empty with the family members going out for a movie leaving Virat (Kushal Tandon) and Maanvi (Niaa Sharma), Viren (Karan Tacker) and Jeevika (Krystle DSouza) to enjoy their moment.

Here's the catch!! Few pictures of this particular romantic sequence have been put up on Facebook, and we have one such in display wherein Virat and Maanvi look like lip-locking. Does this make you think whether the actors Niaa and Kushal went on to smooch for the show? Well, we tried to ask them exactly this!!

However, they went on to deny shooting for a lip-lock and blamed the camera angle for the snapshot clicked. Interesting, isn't it?

Niaa Sharma when contacted said, "Yes, the flavour of Ek Hazaaron with lighter moments and romance is back. We have indeed shot for a romantic sequence wherein the two couples have a jolly good time at home dancing on an intense romantic number."

Quiz her about the lip-lock with Kushal and she immediately stated, "No way!! That's the camera angle. We have not posed for such a scene. Star Plus does not allow any serial to show a lip-lock."

Kushal Tandon too echoed the same saying, "You see tomorrow's episode and you will know there's no such scene showing lip-lock. The snapshot has been taken at a particular angle, and that's it. Tell me one thing, even if we have shot for a smooch sequence, what's the big deal? There are lot many shows which air such scenes. And do you not watch movies where such scenes are very common? Having said this, we did not have such a moment. The channel does not entertain this."

We understand Niaa and Kushal!! We will let the picture (check above) do the talking for the moment and let the audience watch the episode and decide if the sequence was steamy enough.
