Whenever makers want to spice up the goings-on in a serial, the first person they think of is Rakshanda Khan. The actress is all set to enter Bade Acche Laggte Hai as Ram (Ram Kapoor's) college friend Isha and arouse Priya's (Sakshi Tanwar) suspicions about their relationship. "Really," exclaims Rakshanda about adding spice to the serials, and adds, "I guess that's because for the last two years I have consciously decided to do cameos in serials. That way you can condensce all the traits of a character in a short span and make it strong." She recently did cameos in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and Jhilmil Sitaron Ka Angan Hoga.
The last time Rakshanda acted with Ram was over a decade ago in Kasam Seh. "Ram has a mad energy and I love working with him. That was one of the things that propelled me to take up the show," reveals Rakshanda who has been a regular in Ekta Kapoor's (producer) shows. And another reason was she would be able to meet Mona Singh with whom she has a great equation since Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahi. No, Mona is not part of Bade Acche.. but she is shooting for another Balaji show Kya Hua Tera Vaada on the adjoining set. "We share the make-up room now," smiles Rakshanda.
As for her role, she will be playing a modern sophisticated woman and the styling will be westernised.
