me even watched yesterday ...could nt watched last week ...it is light and refershing type...not the other which is promted like ...it has commendy element not like other forced commedy with dogs and susu ...heroine is not preaching ...ML 's family tradional but look real as it happens rural background ..nice to know FL doing decent job...this show has trait of nayi soch , modren girl ...

exactly... !😛 they are clear with the concept n there is no lag between what is shown n what is intended!... the girl is modern, impulsive, very easy to relate... some one we find in our work place( though the setting is in abroad) n there doesnt have to be any reasons as to why there is a clash of interest between the two families...

neither one is glorified as of now... one is a close knit traditional family, not negative, just a lovable family with all the old beliefs n concepts... n the girl actually does work!... (not just in the story concept)... n seeing the girl, we dont get the "i know it all, i will turn the world upside down" vibe😆

Hi all,
First of all new thread ke liye meri tharaf se
Just now I watched Humsafar 1 - 3 episodes. Initially, Fawad acting which reminds me of Zarun, the similar characterizations and seemingly similar story line dissappointed me. I thought 'oh ! this looks like the same story just a bit different !'. But having seen 3 episodes, I am liking it 😃.
The actors are all pretty good in their roles. Mahira khan who plays the fl Khirad and Naveen Waqar who plays the gfd Sara of Aasher (Fawad) are very good. I cried when Khirad's mother dies ... felt the helplessness of the young girl whose only family died. Khirad's mother too did a commendable job though her role was just till the 3rd episode .
Fawad acting is good.. nothing wrong with it except that it is very predictable. He is a rich guy here too and good at heart. I suppose there can't be much variation in terms of acting since the characterizations are similiar .. but again there is a slight difference, Zarun is slightly chauvanistic and probably Aasher is not.
What I liked is Aasher's mother. She is not the bitchy rich egoistic woman.. atleast till now. She is a woman who is open minded yet practical.
Why most of the times, stories are written around a rich guy - poor girl combinations ?
