Shilpuuu ji yes he did played well in the finals but don't forget Yuvi , GG & VK's contribution . Dhoni flopped in the whole series it was only in the finals where he played well I'm not taking anything away from him . He played well & deserve all the praises .
But it was Yuvi & others who played well in the whole series bcz of which India reached the finals.

More than half of the winning team players r made by Dada including ur Mahi. He was to b dropped from the team but it was Dada who went to Dhoni & told him k see I'm giving u certain no of matches dw abt selection just play ur natural game & that's when MSD made 140+ runs & came into the limelight .
Viru , GG , MSD , Yuvi , Zak , Bhajji , Ishant etc r all dada's players.

There's a quote that spread in social

'Ganguly is the best captain of Indian
team whereas Dhoni is the captain of best Indian team'.

Whenever his favs come to the point of getting kicked from the team...they play one good inning best eg Murali Vijay , Jadduu & even Ashwin .

Ganguly is the one who changed the Indian team,he gave a ready made fabulous team to Dhoni .He did play well in the WC but that too in the last match ,throughout the series he sucked,players like Gambhir and Yuvi played a huge huge role in India's win..it was Gambhir's 90+ that made India win.

Oyeee...gal sun!...Me hena...used to watch cricket 12-15 yrs ago ...jab me bechaari...ek kuwari thi... and at a time when I never saw India win any matches at all😒...infact were such embarrasment to us Indian fans.😒 Phir shaadi huwi...and aisa life ne u-turn mara...ki cricket chod...mein uska "c" bhi bhool gayi...
WCC final match was the first ever cricket I watched after such long gap and honestly...while I was watching it...I was only thinking about those days of cricket when they used to only lose...and I literally had no hopes that they wud even win the final. For me it was a shock that India even managed to reach the final coz obviously I was not even following up with WCC season...reason...1 ...I was not following cricket timetables...2 ...i myself was ghumofying in India with fam bam!😆
And when they were playing the finals n the way wickets were falling...I was like dis 🥱
And there comes Dhoni...for me he became the knight in the shining armor.😎 Not knowing anything about all this hard work of dada...and even Dhoni🤔...just seeing him play n reviving the dying hopes...I toh began falling slowly for him...phir toh usne jo woh final sixer aisa mara...ki ball ka toh pata nahi kaha gira...but meint puri tarah...run out...lbw ya direct flat hogayi.😆

And since then I have just followed him not knowing anything about his past.

Aur NIKAMMI...gaddhi...ullu di pathi...bewakoof insaan...jab maine tujhse poocha...tab toh u were like "jaa reshu ya sudha se poonch"...NALAYAK!😡😡😡 Tere moo mein kya kire pade the...tu bata deti...toh bewajah dhoni ki itni tareef tujhe suneko toh nahi milti na...khamakhaa...itna type kiya maine...all energy wasted!!😡😡
