di 4 phere marriage is legal acc to some tradions like in south there r only 4 phere taken yes marriage registration does take place bt there r many in India especially in backward villages wherein they don't register the marriage in such cases if at all the marriage does not work then u can take the help of law provided if or not ur marriage has been registered or not
