ya it seems that his childhood is the reason for his landing in the undersworld but also he is on mission...when sullu said am human neither god nor animal ...there is loads hidden in bet lines

di wht if initially he entered the crime world and later on he was rescued by some official and he became their khabri or u can say he was given a chance to bcm a good human n was handed the job of a secret officer

@ bold : di this is the diff betw sulu nad rk; rk considers himself to b god and sullu though 1000 times better in character than rk is so humble and down to earth
