hmmm satyam jayate was was a good show with new trend.lot of issues came forward which was good but after some time to me it looked a bit scripted.the feel was not just right. for me.
conceptualism was pathbreaking for indian telly but i dont think many will take it as lot of issues are attached to it.

I found Satyamev very ground breaking and bold. But it was very difficult for me to watch such atrocities that are committed. I know these happen in reality and I have to face them. But I am very sensitive and cannot bear to see or hear about any form of violence. So I stopped watching after the first episode (which about female infanticide...which was presented very movingly). After that I used to watch it in bits. I never felt the events were exaggerated. This is what happens I'm real in many places. They just had to dtamatize things a bit while presenting it...otherwise subtle messages don't go onto the thick heads of regressive or ignorant people in india. So I felt the presentation was tailored for the common indian viewer.

Satyameva jayathe was a good show. I tried to show as much as possible in one hr and I felt it was genuine. I felt the facts and figures were okay and the they didn't overdo it. I think is Aamir was good as a host. Not too much talking from his side and took the talk as per the guest. But I have an issue with hosts crying on a talk show. I can't make out whether the emotions are real. But overall SJ was good and hope a sequel will come soon.

About sheetal track, I feel at that point the PH / channel was pretty much doing whatever they want with the script.. they didn't have a future track and it looked like they were writing then and there. Modifying as required. Shyam's truth revelation, mrs india were all like written as the episodes were happening.. atleast that is the impression I had.

Payal gussa ho gayi. Sorry Payal...thoda lull chal raha hai among Barun fans...I guess no news of him...so people are just going about doing their own stuff in their lives...need to keep busy otherwise will go crazy waiting for Barun. So we are here, just alternating between various things.
