Optimystix Production's new show starring Sanaya Irani and Varun Kapoor in the lead has been hogging the limelight these days.

And after roping in veteran actors like Anang Desai and Supriya Pathak for pivotal roles, the other actor who will now join the star cast are Anushree Bathla, Jimit Trivedi and Romanch Mehta.

Sources inform that Anushree Bathla will essay the role of one of the daughter-in-law's of Anang Desai and Supriya Pathak whereas Jimit Trivedi last seen in Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum and Romanch Mehta, currently seen in Colors' Durga will play sons of the veterans.

When contacted, Romanch Mehta said, "Yes, I am doing the show and I will play the role of the main lead's elder brother. And as I haven't started shooting for the show, I can't reveal much about the storyline."

Guys we gave a call to optimystix production house and they said that the cast is finalised and they are not doing any more look tests and varun kapoor is finalised to play the lead opposite sanaya irani thanks-TeamSarun

After watching the SBS of chanchan it hit me! that we will never ever see or hear Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada when we see Sanaya on screen or expect a Rabba ve out of the blue with Barun coming and colliding with her and catching her along with the n number of eye s** happening each time they do. 😭

I miss IPK and i'm all nostalgic now 😭

Barun, Varun or Vatsal: Who will make the cut?

Speculation is rife that Barun Sobti is being approached for the lead role opposite Sanaya Irani in Sony's Modern Bahu. The duo had a great chemistry in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and sources say that the makers are hoping to recreate it in the new serial.

However, when contacted Barun said he is too busy right now to think of any show. Incidentally, the actor had quit Iss Pyaar Ko..to concentrate on his film and it had led to the closure of the serial.

Another actor who is being consideredfor the role is Vatsal Sheth best remembered for his role in Just Mohabbat and the filmTarzan The Wonder Car. Even Varun Kapoor who was last seen in Na Aana Is Des Laado is in the reckoning. Remains to be seen who makes it to the finishing line.
