After reading that last night I was thinking, God, those immediately affected, their families, her siblings, parents, this young man will need help...someone to talk to to get over the grief and the outrage. I truly hope the government is facilitating that.

Poor child, this young girl, what horror, what nightmarish pain she went through...it hurts to just read about it.

Just read the write up of his interview...poor boy...how will we ever forget this..why will we ever forget..
if her cries can haunt our dreams...can't imagine wht he must be going thru!!!

@ priya, exactly...

@vqwerty: I think with what happened in Delhi more of these cases that happen every day are being reported in a bigger way by the media.

I sincerely hope the punishment in the Delhi case is so severe that others will think twice before paying a hand on a woman without her will. But I'm not holding my breath, given our system, still I think the horror of the Delhi case touched a lot of consciences. Earlier it was often hard to talk about rape cases in some families or public fora.

Balika Vadhu has such novel, strrong writing -- and consistently over years...its really a stellar show -- which is the only show that has going down the charts -- came up with a bang and seriously, the only Indian show that has been able to reach the deeper corner of diverse demographic country with a strong message with each track -- fine aesthetics always and no OTT !!!
SP could never touch Colors on that front !!!

Thanks Parsha

It is such a tragic account -- such a horrific experience for them. Can't believe the police did not rush them to the hospital but discussed whose jurisdiction the case in? Gave them no clothes to cover themselves. And he had to carry her into the van. No help from the police even. Where were the paramedics?
And his statement at the end: even if one person had helped me things might have been different. So damning.
