Rithvik Dhanjani, of Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV) fame and a contestant of Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa season 5 on Colors, is celebrating his birthday today (5 November 2012).

To set the tempo, Rithvik's best friend Karan Wahi threw a surprise birthday bash yesterday night when everyone from Jhalak' were present along with the birthday boy's friends.

Shares Rithvik, "It was a very sweet and kind gesture of Karan and my manager for having planned a surprise party last night at a club in Bandra where all myJhalak' mates and my friends had come. It was truly very nice and good of them. We partied till the wee hours of the morning. Today, I might shoot in the evening as my call time is 6 pm. However, I have my own doubts of whether I will be able to go for the shoot or not (laughs)."

Furthermore' he says, "I am going out with my friends this evening and I propose to throw my birthday bash. Yesterday, 4 November, was the birthday of my co-actress Jia Mustafa from Pavitra. Hence, we planned a surprise for her. And as a return gift, she was present last night for my birthday celebration. Today, I am missing my parents very much. I wish they were in Mumbai for this day. Finally, I would like to thank all my friends and fans for making my day so beautiful and wonderful."
