But I know that they got to know each other in uni. My mom is a hindu and my dad a christian. So my granny (mom's mother) made a fuss about it but she came around 😆 And my dad's family was never against it ;)

Yeh they were all arranged but they didnt get married like the next day after arranging. They all talked for a couple months before their weddings...i wonder if that makes a difference...you do get to know the person a bit in that time, right?

And I also don't believe in all these poojas or fasts. It has to come from the heart! That is the main thing I feel. And there is a temple called tirupathi in Andhra. Donno if you know it but it is on a mountain. People believe that if they walk up the mountain all the sins will be washed away! Bullshit is all I can say. A pure heart is the most important thing.
