I love my culture don't get me wrong, but if I was ever to have kids, I want them to explore 2 cultures and understand both. To be proud of it both. Because there's so much racism going around it's quite sad. I am weird. :P But I still want the culture in the family too. My option is to marry an Indian because our cultures are so similar.. LOL. Preferably Barun ;) haha dreaming again. :P

Ahaha I get what you're trying to say ;) but i think it is quite tough for kids to have parents from entirely different cultures. You'd have to stick with one otherwise it is very hard for the kid to balance out both. Believe me we are also growing up with 2 cultures. Well I grew up with 2. The Indian and the german one. Sometimes I didn't know what to do or which path to follow. it leads to lots of stress but somewhere down the line i have figured it out how to balance both :)

That makes a lot of sense. Honestly, honestly, speaking. I don't even want to get married, but I am doing for my mom. I have a feeling I will end up with a Sri Lankan, but you know my mom always says I will end with an Indian. I have no clue why lol. And anyways even if I do it's not a problem. Our cultures are alike anyways.
