Ria and I were actually having a discussion on the same matter.
This is all just a conspiracy of Sony TV against DEK. Sony has always been biased and always been against DEK for some reason. Coming to think of it, I am not even surprised anymore as to why they would keep a condition to bring the TRPs to 3.0. It was expected, they deliberately want to shut the show down. And by doing so, they are only destroying their own channel because some people, including me, only started watching Sony due to DEK. Otherwise I wouldn't even give than channel a second look. And now I feel they never even deserved one!

yep right...if there's no DEk then No SONY for me...i watch this channel only for DEK, only for Manveer n only for the handsome hunk Udayveer...if Ashu comes in Humsafar..then also i would prefer DEK much much more...coz I love Uday...Ashu was best suited for this role...maybe he wont shine as much as he did in this show...SO JUST WANNA WISH ASHU ALL THE BEST FOR HIS FUTURE...THUMBS UP UDAY👍🏼
