Go to file> import > video frames to layers. Then in the 'file name' tab, type down > "*" (speech marks on both the sides and in between there should be a star) Click on 'load.' Once you do that, all your avis will appear and then you can stack them as you usually do.

thankies biwi! Ju are so ishsmart☺️ see I always save my avi'z in gif with all the frames so I never had that problem. but now I know what to do if i have avi that has no frames and is in gif.
