Big screen baddie of the yesteryears Ranjeet, who sent chills down the audience's spines with his evil streak and sinister style of delivering dialogue, is back on the tube after a long hiatus. The senior villain will soon be seen entering Zee TV's primetime soap Hitler Didi as a corrupt builder Kukreja to whom lead protagonist Indira's (Rati Pandey) greedy father has sold their home without even letting the family know. Being a nasty land shark, Indira must enlist the help of her lover Rishi (Sumit Vats) and device a plot whereby the family home comes back to them. The upcoming track will feature a comedy track where Indira's entire family stages a comic plot wherein they connive to get their house back from Ranjeet's character Kukreja.

Speaking of his return to the tube, Ranjeet said, "It's a pleasure to be working with Zee TV and Ila Bedi is a dear friend. The show Hitler Didi brings out the true essence of modern day middle-class Delhi life. My character is that of a comic bad man … something I have specialized in over the years. I am happy to connect with my fans in the form that they most love me in! I look forward to playing the role"

Rati Pandey who plays the title role of Hitler Didi said, "We've grown up watching his films … almost dreading him. I was wary of being anywhere around him when I first heard he will be playing an important role in the upcoming track. But, Ranjeet ji is such a dignified, respectable man with a very affectionate air about him. He put us all at ease immediately."
