There's not that much gore. Ummm how do I say this...it's like there's head chopping and sword fight and stuff but it's not that bad. It's not like those zombie flicks...like 28 days later or 28 weeks later (if you have seen those...i would suggest not to).
The best thing about the show is the storyline. They don't waste too much time on gore.

and trust me you're not alone. I was fearing the same when my brother suggested me the series.

Gore doesn't bother me that much...Kill Bill is one of my fav. movies...I'm a bit of a weird girl that way...lol...I can take gore etc. if it packs an emotional punch along with it.



@Amy: Aww I can understand yaar...this reminds me of the time I started watching Bones and was catching up and Mels was trying not to give me spoilers cuz she was so many seasons ahead...lol

But yeah I'm glad I can discuss with you somewhat atleast...I've managed to download epis 3 and 4 too now *grins* Off to watch them soon.

@Anu---Yay! you're catching up quickly.🤗 It's so hard to stop when you get started with the series. When i first started watching it, i watched first 3 episodes in one go😆 and then i looked on to my alarm clock and it was 2 in the morning already. 😆

Rafi's got GoT downloaded too, so she'll be joining the first seasoners...if and when she gets started (you better😆).

@Amy: 🤗 LOL basically time is a bit of an issue cuz each epi is an hour long and I want to watch it undisturbed so I'm basically looking to watch an epi when no one is around to bother me or calling out to me for something...I'm trying to download as many epis as I can though so I don't have to wait to buffer them online for ages.


Oh Rafi's got it all downloaded? Cool! She should join in the discussions soon too then...if she finds time from SwaRon that is😛

Luckily or unluckily for me...NBT is totally crappified...and GOT is damn interesting like you said...hard to stop watching once you start.

LOL GOT doesn't have unnecessary gore...and honestly it's hardly the grossest stuff I've seen...I'd say BONES has had more gore than GOT...lol...cuz the dead bodies on Bones are some of the goriest/grossest things I've ever seen...I haven't been bothered or disturbed by anything much on GOT so far...like Amy said, they aren't showing gore just for the horror of it...the focus is more on the power plays and characters.

@Anu-- yeah time is a HUGE issue and especially finding LONE time. Watching each episode requires your full attention because there's so much that goes on in that 1 hour.
And ummm there's no hurry. I have already completed two seasons but i still love going back to them and especially when I've got you guys to discuss it with. It's so much fun discussing it with someone. 😳

@Rafi--- It's not like SAW series, trust me. I could not sit through saw ...heck not even Final Destination series at certain times. and like I said to Mash, they maintain the focus on the powerplay between the characters rather than gore.
