I am sure you will. Do u guys choose ur courses and time online? Next year, you will have more options, so you can pick the time n courses best for u.

It is a pain to have long breaks and I had it too - When we were in first year, we would either go explore campus area or go to library n study n joke around in study rooms...lol

Ya- don't know how some ppl manage to do PhD in chemistry n all..
