It's that time of year again😃 Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, and the sun is out😃🤣 Sorry lost my train of thought there😆 So yes! It's an important day signifying a new beginning and the arrival of happiness and the Crazy Creatives would like to wish you and say
For those who don't know, Basant Panchami is an important festival and the meaning is derived from the name itself. Basant = Spring and marks the beginning of s p r i n g. Panchami, meaning on the 5th day of the moon or 5th day of Magh.
The colour yellow is also associated with it hence this post is yellow and hopefully not blinding🤣 Lame joke I know😆 No seriously, yellow. Why? Because yellow is symbolic. It represents n a t u r e and vibrancy of life and that's why people on this day wear yellow clothing anddd the also have kite competitions
Not only does Basant Panchami represent the arrival of spring, it's also believed to be the birthday of Goddess Saraswati, who has four hands. Each hand represents ego, intellect, alertness and mind. In two of the hands she carries a lotus and scriptures while she plays an instrument in the other. She is therefore known as the Goddess of k n o w l e d g e and a lot of children start their education on this day.
Since the day is associated with Goddess Saraswati, it's also the most auspicious day to do Saraswati pooja
However, Krishna-Radha and Lord Vishnu are also worshiped on this day.
Now, since it's such a happy occasion, we thought why not do something fun. Sadly we can't just full out kites and start competing with each other since well...it's the virtual world BUT we've thought of something equally fun
Pretty creative name no?😆
Anywho, just like it says, we're gonna play spring antakshri😃 Since basant panchami is related to spring, you can only use songs that relate to spring in some way. They can mention spring, kites, flowers etc. Sounds interesting no?😎
