Okie so it was rounding a banked curve (like this)...

Radius of banked curve is R, there is no friction between tires and road. What is the maximum speed for which car can take the curve without sliding?

This was the equation we derived after drawing a free body diagram (but I have no idea what he did)

mg tan x = ((mv^2)/R)

normal force = mg cos x (but than he also used mg sin x to make it tan x...I get how he might have got it, but not why? or it could be vice versa...I know why he did it but not how? I don't know...I am just confused)

I know that force for circular motion = ((mv^2)/R)

And so the left side of the equation = Net Force...so mg is basically gravitational force...but I am not still quite sure of the tangent part.

PS: The line from Aal Izz Well is so apt. for Physics...confusion hi confusion hai solution kuch pata nahi, solution jo mila toh sala prashn kya tha pata nahi!!

wonder what that between Callie and Webber was about it. it's sure that they made it bigger than it actually is

but do you believe that Cris will be the one having trouble with her final exams? cuz of what Mer said about her not focusing on medicin anymore only about her marriage

Wow, now Owen disgusts me. How can you be so freaking selfish. I think he is one of the most selfish persons I've ever met. this It's so unbelievable. He lost it anyway latest the moment he asked Cris to marry her while she was in PTSD.
