I sooo loved the speech Mer gave to Owen. Owen is so blind. if it was vice versa with him gettin shot and saved by Mer. I think he wld never have done what Der did for Cris. Honestly, I don't know what Owen loves on Cris. She was open to him, very open, she even told him she didn't wanna have kids. She never lied about anything.

Just popped to my mind. Mer gave Owen a speech. Normally Mer isn't the one giving speeches. There was absolutely no sign of Cris wanning to give Der a speech. She doesn't like him, she told him that. And she was not really helpful when Der was searching for Mer. But she seems to understand Der, at least a bit.

OMT this is a veyr beautiful observation Satan very very beautiful Cris so knows MerDer wld b fine...usually when Der acts like a jerk she calls him off and tells Mer not to wreck her brains over it like in s five in that kidney in jar epi but here she didnt call him off coz she gets him and she has faith on him on MerDer she knows everything wld b fine,,,god...and yes she might have said she doesnt like D but deep down she does...like PD SAID LAST YR THEY HAVE A SILENT BOND WHERE WITHOUT SAYING WITHOUT TALKING THEY BECAME FAMILY...they got tied by one common thread they both love...Mer...and that was that when how silently they started liking respecting eahc other no one knows not even them..

exactly, she wld have called him off. Cris never is afraid of doing things that need to be done or saying things she believes needs to be said. She even pushed Alex out of his bed, when he was supposed to rest. But she didn't go to Der, cuz she gets him. She might not agree 100% but she gets him.

Der saying: THIS is my house. that's another reason why he has no urge to be in the house with Mer. Sleeping on the couch wldn't be an option for him. he might feel even more unconfortable than sleepin in the trailer.

And we already pointed out, the house is the McHouse, he doesn't build the house for himself. He is building it for the family.

If not, he might have cancelled the plan for the house again. Remember in S6 think it was the 3rd last epi, he says after MD decided together to build their house, he cancelled all the old plans and they started completely new?

Oh, the I got fired scene with Der. Oh my, he sooo does react to her. He tries to be the cool guy to the outside. But in the inside, he so does care. He didn't only turn back to Mer in the latest sneak he also does turn back to her in this I got fired scene.
